Audio-first memory

Capture how a moment actually sounds — and let your future self open it.

Ten seconds of rain on the window. The café you loved. A voice you don't want to forget. Soundpost turns the sound of a moment into a tappable, mood-tinted waveform card — and can seal it to surface again on a date you choose.

Capture in seconds

Tap once. Record up to a minute of the sound around you — ambient, not staged. The whole habit is meant to be effortless.

The card is the keepsake

Each clip becomes a glanceable waveform card, tinted by the mood you give it, with an optional place and one line.

Seal it for later

Choose a future date and Soundpost gently hides the capsule until then — a postcard you send forward in time.

Yours, on your device

No account. No feed. Your sounds stay on your phone. Nothing is sold, mined, or shown to anyone else.

What we promise — and what we won't pretend

Honesty over theater. Here is exactly how Soundpost behaves.

  • The seal is a gentle, honor-system seal — not encryption. It hides a capsule until its date, kept on your device. It is not a cryptographic lock and is not meant to defeat a determined person.
  • Recording can pick up other people's voices. Please be considerate of those around you when you capture a moment.
  • Capsules live on your device. In this version there is no cloud backup, so deleting the app removes your capsules. (Optional iCloud backup is on our roadmap.)
  • We never charge you to receive a past memory. Opening what you already captured is always free.
